2019 Church Security Training Schedule

Due to a bad knee, we are not holding any training sessions this year. More than likely it will be 2020 before we start training again. However, in the meantime, we suggest that you order a copy of The Watchman DVD series to get you started. There is a lot of good information in the video series, as well as in our interactive online training.

If you are looking for on-site training, then please click on the navbar on the left where it says “On-site Training”.

We are currently working on our schedule for 2019. However, please be sure to check back often because things can change at any time. Churches across the nation bring us in for conferences and when we have one on the calendar, we will update the site as soon as that happens.

Sept 12-15, 2018, Instructors Development Program – Richmond, IN. Click here to learn more about this program.

We will have other training opportunities coming up for 2018. So, do not get discouraged if you cannot make these. Please let us know that you are interested in something later in the year.

Innovative Tactical Concepts offers other training solutions as well, so be sure to take a look at those.

Of course, not everyone will be able to make these events so be sure to contact us if you cannot and we will try to get something scheduled. If you have any other questions regarding our training, please feel free to contact us.

Places to stay. On US 27 North/Chester Blvd there is the Comfort Inn. There are a few restaurants in that area but only fast food. On US40 East/Main Street there are several hotels such as Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, Days Inn, and a few other locally owned ones. This side of town is where most things are including sit down restaurants and movie theaters. If you stay on the North side you can quickly get to the East side of town via I-70.

The training location will only be disclosed to those who have paid for the course.

Items to bring:
  • Note taking materials
  • Gun with training barrel or real gun we will tie off. If you have a blue or red gun ,that will suffice.
  • Handheld tactical light
  • Holster
  • Hydration

Dayton, OH is the closest to Richmond. It is approximately 30 miles from Richmond and it is a straight shot from the airport to Richmond. This is the recommended airport to fly into.

Cincinnati, OH is about an hour and fifteen minutes away and is a little more difficult to get to Richmond. If you choose this airport, be sure to set your GPS to get you here!

Indianapolis, IN is about an hour and fifteen minutes away. All you have to do is jump on I-70 and head East. However, there is normally construction on I-70, so you might run into construction traffic.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding the training or other information.
