CHURCH SECURITY TEAM APPLICATION
As a courtesy, we have provided you with a Free Church security team application form.
Choosing the right people for the security team is critical to mission success. Not everyone is a good candidate and has the right mindset or personality for being on a security team. Another thing to consider is that just because someone has Military or Law Enforcement experience does not make them a good candidate or should lead the team and we go into more detail in our online training series, as well as our church security DVD titled “The Watchman”. Most people are not going to be a good fit for the team. We cannot emphasize enough the importance of having quality people over quantity. Truth is, most men want to be involved in security, but are not right for the job and do not have the calling. Therefore, you must be very selective in who you choose to be on the security team.
If any person applying for the team cannot commit to the required training, then they are not a good fit.
Ideally, you would have candidates fill out the application form and then interview the prospective candidates that seem to be a good fit. We have provided free of charge interview questions for you here.
If a person is not a good fit for the team, then you will not waste the time and resources on conducting a background check.
